Games with Ukrainian language in our catalog: what is translated and where there is voice-over

A Steam-verified list of games in our catalog with a Ukrainian interface, subtitles or voice-over — and the ones with no Ukrainian at all.

Language is one of the first things worth checking before you rent: in a story-driven game, not understanding the text costs you half the fun. We went through the whole catalog (45 games) and checked each one against its Steam page: is there Ukrainian, and in what form — interface, subtitles or voice-over.

The data is from Steam as of 9 October 2026. Only official support that the developer lists in the store is counted: fan translations and mods are left out because we have not verified them.

The one-minute summary

Of the 45 games in the catalog, 16 support Ukrainian. Of those:

with Ukrainian voice-over — 3: Metro 2033 Redux, Metro: Last Light Redux and ARK: Survival Evolved;
with Ukrainian subtitles and interface — 11;
with a Ukrainian interface only, no subtitles — 2: Euro Truck Simulator 2 and Garry's Mod.

The other 29 games have no Ukrainian listed on Steam — the list is at the end of the article.

With Ukrainian voice-over

Steam marks a language with an asterisk when it has full audio. There are three such games in the catalog.

Metro 2033 Redux is a first-person shooter based on Dmitry Glukhovsky's novel: post-nuclear Moscow, metro stations, mutants. According to Steam, Ukrainian is available for the interface, subtitles and voice-over.

Metro: Last Light Redux continues Artyom's story with the same language support: Ukrainian interface, subtitles and voice-over. According to HowLongToBeat, each part takes about 9–10 hours for the story, so the pair fits comfortably into one month of rental.

ARK: Survival Evolved is a dinosaur survival game. Steam marks Ukrainian as voiced, but there is not much speech in the game, so it hardly changes the experience. There are no Ukrainian subtitles, only the interface. Online modes do not work on a rented account in offline mode — single-player only.

With Ukrainian subtitles and interface

In these games the voice-over is English or another language, but all the text — menus, dialogue, quests, items — is in Ukrainian. For story games that is usually enough.

Left 4 Dead 2 is built as a co-op game: in offline mode you can play the campaigns with bots, while online modes are not available.

Ukrainian interface only

In two games of the catalog Ukrainian covers only the menus and hints, with no subtitles:

Euro Truck Simulator 2 is a long-haul trucking simulator. There is hardly any story, so this is not a problem.
Garry's Mod is a sandbox where the game is largely made of community modes and add-ons; only the interface itself is translated.

That does not mean you will not understand them: most have English, and some have other languages too. But if you specifically need Ukrainian, these games will not fit.

Worth knowing

Language support changes with patches: a game may get Ukrainian later. The current state is always shown on the game's Steam page, in the "Languages" block.
