Stray

Stray is an adventure game from BlueTwelve Studio, published by Annapurna Interactive. You play a stray cat lost in a decaying, neon-lit cyberpunk city. Separated from its family, the cat has to untangle an ancient mystery and find its way home, joined along the way by a small flying drone.

It is played in third person: you explore the city from narrow alleys to rooftops, jump, sneak and solve puzzles. The streets are home to curious droids as well as dangerous creatures. The cat can also just be a nuisance, as interaction with the world is playful.

The game is short: by common estimates the story takes a few hours, usually around 4 to 6, so a month is far more than enough, as this is a story for a few evenings. It is single-player, so it is fully available under the offline rental. Good for fans of unhurried, atmospheric adventures.
