Geometry Dash

Geometry Dash is a rhythm platformer from RobTop Games. Your cube, ship or other character races through a level to the music, and all you do is press one button at the right time: jump, fly, flip gravity. One mistake and you are back at the start of the level.

The challenge is precision. Hazards follow the beat, so you learn a level by retrying until your fingers remember the rhythm. There are several movement modes, customisable icons and a level editor.

HowLongToBeat (via DekuDeals) lists about 317 hours for solo play, so it is closer to an endless pastime than a story. At about 2 hours a day (roughly 60 hours), you can clear the official levels in a month, but not master everything. To be honest: the rental is offline access, so downloading other players' levels, leaderboards and network features may not be available.
