The Evil Within

The Evil Within is a survival horror game from Tango Gameworks, published by Bethesda Softworks and directed by Shinji Mikami, creator of the Resident Evil series. Detective Sebastian Castellanos and his partners investigate the scene of a gruesome mass murder and encounter a mysterious and powerful force. After witnessing the slaughter of fellow officers, he is ambushed and knocked unconscious, and wakes in a deranged world where hideous creatures wander among the dead.

The game blends horror and action with limited resources. You fight to survive, find your way through nightmarish environments, avoid brutal traps and twisted creatures, and sometimes turn diabolical devices against the enemy. Tension and anxiety build with every chapter, and the story gradually reveals what lies behind the evil force.

According to HowLongToBeat, the story takes about 16 hours and a full run about 42. In a month at roughly 60 hours you can finish it entirely, with room to spare. The game is single-player and works offline.
