Resident Evil 2

Resident Evil 2 is a ground-up remake of the classic survival horror from CAPCOM. In September 1998 a deadly virus engulfs Raccoon City and turns its residents into flesh-eating zombies. Rookie police officer Leon Kennedy and college student Claire Redfield are thrown together by the disaster and try to survive and find out what is behind the attack on the city.

The game is played from over the shoulder on Capcom’s RE Engine. You explore tense locations, solve puzzles and ration ammunition, since every shot counts. Leon and Claire each have a separate campaign, showing the events from two perspectives and letting you see the story in different ways. A relentless pursuer stalks the police station and can only be fled from, while sound and lighting keep the tension constant.

According to HowLongToBeat, the story takes about 9 hours and a full run with all the campaigns about 37. In a month at roughly 60 hours you can finish it entirely, with room to spare. The game is single-player and works offline.
