Mortal Kombat X

Mortal Kombat X is a fighting game from NetherRealm Studios, published by Warner Bros. Games, and the tenth entry in the iconic series. Its cinematic story mode continues the tale of the tournament between realms, bringing a new generation of fighters onto the arena alongside veterans such as Scorpion and Sub-Zero.

Mechanically it is two-dimensional fighting in a three-dimensional setting. Each character has several variations that change their style and strategy, so the same fighter can play in completely different ways. Expect classic combos, X-ray attacks and gory finishing moves called Fatalities. Besides the story, there are matches against the computer, local two-player bouts on one screen and online matches.

According to HowLongToBeat, the story takes about 6 hours and a full run with every mode about 69. In a month at roughly 60 hours you will finish the story with plenty of time to spare, though a 100% run may run slightly short. The game has a single-player story mode, and alongside it come online and local matches against other players.
