Mortal Kombat 1

Mortal Kombat 1 is a fighting game from NetherRealm Studios and a reboot of the series: the Fire God Liu Kang has built a new world, and familiar fighters find themselves in new roles. It has a cinematic story campaign, classic fatalities and a reworked fighting system.

The fights are rendered in 3D but played on a 2D plane: strings of strikes, blocks, special moves, and support fighters you can call in at the right moment. Besides the story there are challenge towers, training and local matches, so there is plenty to do without a network.

According to HowLongToBeat (via DekuDeals), the story takes about 7 hours, with extras about 15, and a full run about 61. At about 2 hours a day (roughly 60 hours), a month covers the story and towers, while 100% is borderline. To be honest: the rental is offline access, so online matches, ranked play and network modes are not included.
