Injustice 2

Injustice 2 is a fighting game from NetherRealm Studios (published by WB Games), the developers of Mortal Kombat. You build and power up the ultimate version of your favourite DC legends. The story picks up where the first game left off: Batman struggles against Superman’s regime while a new threat appears that puts the very existence of Earth at risk.

In every match you earn gear to equip, customise and evolve, so your fighters grow stronger and more distinctive with every victory. The roster is the biggest DC line-up the studio has made, and the fights take place in iconic locations. Besides the cinematic story mode, the game offers online player-versus-player battles and local split-screen duels.

According to HowLongToBeat, the story takes about 6 hours and a 100% run about 53, so a month is plenty. The story part is single-player: the story and local fights need no connection, while the online modes need the internet.
