House Flipper

House Flipper is a renovation simulator: you take repair jobs, buy run-down houses, fix them up and sell them at a profit. It was made by Empyrean and published by PlayWay. There is no story in the usual sense, just a string of properties and a business that slowly grows.

It is all very hands-on: hauling away trash, scrubbing walls, stripping old wallpaper, painting, fitting plumbing, picking furniture and decorating rooms your own way. The work is split into small jobs, so it suits short sessions and has a calming rhythm.

The main progression takes about 13 hours, and a 100% run about 50 hours (according to HowLongToBeat). At 2 hours a day, a month covers the main part with room to spare, and full completion is within reach if it hooks you. Single-player, works offline.
