Five Nights at Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimic is a horror game from Steel Wool Studios, published by ScottGames, released on 13 June 2025. You enter the abandoned workshop of Murray’s Costume Manor and have to unravel the mystery left behind by the reclusive inventor Edwin Murray. Your task is to retrieve Fazbear’s prized prototype technology, but inside the manor you are hunted by the creature Murray created.

You are armed only with your wits, a few gadgets and a heavily redacted corporate briefing. You explore the labyrinth of the deserted manor, find the remnants of Edwin’s unfinished work, work through cryptic clues and evade a relentless pursuer. The Mimic is a prototype endoskeleton that can adapt to any costume and become any character, including what you fear most. Every dark corner holds a secret.

According to HowLongToBeat, the story takes about 7 hours and a full run about 17. In a month at roughly 60 hours you can finish it entirely, with plenty of time to spare. The game is single-player and works offline.
