Borderlands 2

Borderlands 2 is a shoot-and-loot action RPG from Gearbox Software, published by 2K. You play one of four new vault hunters on the dangerous planet of Pandora, facing strange creatures, psychos and the evil mastermind Handsome Jack. It is a quest for revenge and redemption.

There are four classes: the Siren, the Commando, the Gunzerker, who can dual-wield any two weapons, and the Assassin. The core of the game is shooting and hunting for guns, of which there is a bazillion, and gear found in one game can be taken to another. You complete quests, develop your character and explore a living planet, with a story woven into a connected world.

According to HowLongToBeat, the story takes about 30 hours and a full run about 130. In a month at roughly 60 hours you can finish the story with room to spare, but a 100% run will definitely not fit. You can play the campaign alone or in co-op with up to four players, either online or over a local network.
