A Plague Tale: Requiem

A Plague Tale: Requiem is a story-driven adventure with stealth elements from the French studio Asobo. It continues the story of Amicia and her younger brother Hugo, who flee their devastated homeland for the south of medieval France. Hugo carries a mysterious curse that awakens swarms of rats, and the siblings hope to find salvation on a distant island.

Amicia can stay hidden, using a sling and alchemical mixtures, or fight her way through. The main threat is the rats that devour everything alive, but light holds them back, so the game revolves around managing fire and shadow. Much of the focus is on the siblings' bond and the price of every decision.

According to HowLongToBeat, the story takes about 17 hours and a 100% run about 27 hours. It is a linear story, so at two hours a day you can finish it in a month, collectibles included. The game is single-player and fully available on rental.
